My name is Ashlie McVey, and I am Academic Director/Managing Director at ACT Counselling Services, Glasgow.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist/BABCP Accredited CB Psychotherapist/BABCP /COSCA Practitioner Member (Accredited Other UK Professional Body), COSCA Accredited Diploma Level Trainer.

My background is in Social Care and I have worked in a variety of settings for the past 20 years. This has involved working with children, young people and adults involved with services as a result of domestic abuse, alcohol and drugs, offending, and various chronic mental health disorders.
